For Erica, it was an immense blessing to be able to work alongside her brother Nephthali, as well as with the other musicians—brothers and sisters—who contributed to this work.
This period of work wasn’t always easy. We had to juggle studio sessions, our professional responsibilities, our studies, and various daily obligations. There was fatigue, there were constraints, and sometimes there were moments when we simply had to find the strength to keep going.
But Jesus Christ, the One who inspired and gave us this vision, showed us grace at every step. 🙏🏽
Through these moments spent together, God enabled us to get to know one another better, to serve together toward a shared vision, and to gradually discover each other’s strengths and hearts.
What began as a simple service for the songs would little by little become a space where God was building something far deeper.
Without us even realizing it yet, He was using every rehearsal, every studio session, every conversation, and every moment we shared to weave the threads of our story.
Today, we look back on this time with deep gratitude and can simply say:
“Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
Along with all of this, the Lord Jesus Christ also placed a special vision on Brother Nephthali’s heart: to reach out to people going through difficult and sensitive situations, to visit them, to pray with them, to tell them about Jesus Christ, and, whenever possible, to provide them with financial support as well.
When he told me about this ministry, I didn’t hesitate for a single moment to get involved. What burned in his heart resonated deeply with what the Lord Himself had placed in my heart long ago: to reach out to those who are suffering, to encourage them, to pray for them, and to share the love of Christ with them.
Looking back, we realize that those moments also played an important role in our story. As we served together, we learned to support one another, to pray together, to persevere together, and above all, to look in the same direction: Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of His work.
It wasn’t just a mission we were carrying out side by side. It was also—though we didn’t fully realize it at the time—a way for God to teach us to walk together.
And today, we can testify that behind every difficulty, every journey, every prayer, and every sacrifice, the Lord’s hand was present.
What God had begun, He Himself continued to lead.
So we began serving together, without truly realizing all that this journey would require of us.
It wasn’t easy.
Sometimes we would travel very long distances—sometimes with our instruments in tow—simply to meet one person, share a moment with them, pray, and offer a little comfort.
Along the way, we faced strong winds, persecution, difficulties, and situations that could have discouraged us. There were times when we were tired and when circumstances seemed complicated.
But in the midst of it all, Jesus Christ strengthened us. 🙏🏽
Every difficulty reminded us that this work did not depend on our own strength, but on His grace. And despite the obstacles, the work moved forward.
Then finally came the day when the project for our first single came to fruition. By God’s grace, we all had the privilege of taking part, each in our own way, in this work that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself had inspired.
That day was simply unique, wonderful, and deeply blessed.
It wasn’t just the completion of a musical project. We were convinced that we had experienced something much greater. After that program, we were no longer quite the same.
On that day, the Lord Jesus Christ had fulfilled what He had promised regarding this project. We saw His faithfulness, His grace, and His hand at work, despite everything we had gone through to reach that moment.
It was like a little piece of heaven that had come down to earth.
We were filled with gratitude, joy, and wonder at what God had just accomplished. Everything we had gone through—the sacrifices, the long days, the difficulties, the travels, the moments of exhaustion, and the struggles—suddenly took on a whole new meaning.
But after that program, the enemy also attacked us fiercely. We faced more battles, more difficulties, and more seasons that weren’t always easy.
Yet, in the midst of it all, the Lord Jesus Christ remained faithful to His word and His promises.
Everyone’s life went on as usual, with its responsibilities, plans, and different realities. And while each of us went about our own business, God Himself continued silently to write our story.
We did not yet understand everything He was doing.
But one thing was certain: the One who had begun this work was faithful to carry it through to completion.
