I am now looking forward to that wonderful day when, before God, our families, our loved ones, and our witnesses, the Lord Jesus Christ will seal our union on this earth and establish us as one flesh. That day will be the culmination of a journey that only He could have written and guided. ❤️ I can’t wait to see my sister Erica officially become my helper, my wife, and my life partner—the one with whom I will now walk into this new season that the Lord is opening up for us. It is with great joy, gratitude, and emotion that I await the moment when I can officially call her: Mrs. Erica Miakazebi. 💍❤️ I give thanks to God for the woman He has placed in my path, for all that He has allowed us to experience so far, and for all that we still have yet to discover and build together. Our story is not a matter of chance. It is a testimony to the grace and faithfulness of Jesus Christ. And now, we wait in faith for the day when we can say before God and before everyone: “We are now one flesh.” 🕊️❤️
As for me, I’m simply eager to see the wonders and miracles that the Lord Jesus Christ will perform on that day. ❤️ He promised it, so He will do it. I’m not worried about anything, nor do I fret over anything, because I know in Whose hands this plan lies. Jesus Christ is the Head, the CEO, the Manager, and the One who leads this entire work. 🙏🏽 Since He is the One who began this story, He is also the One who will bring it to its perfect fulfillment. That is why I can move forward without fear, with that deep peace that His Word calls His Shalom in my heart. So I look forward to this coming day not with anxiety, but with faith, joy, and immense gratitude. I know that the Lord has already prepared things that my eyes have not yet seen. And above all, I can’t wait to say “YES” to my brother Nephthali, before God and before men, and to officially take his hand to begin this new chapter of our lives together. 💍❤️ What a privilege, what a blessing, and what a responsibility it is to become his wife, his helper, and his life partner. May God bless you abundantly, my future husband, Mr. Miakazebi. ❤️ I await this wonderful day with a heart filled with peace, for I know that the One who has led us this far will not forsake us. To Jesus Christ alone be all the glory, honor, and thanksgiving. 🕊️
Ephesians 5: 25-30 "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church—for we are members of his body."
During a seminar, the Lord Jesus Christ allowed me to have my first encounter with the woman He had already destined to be my helper and life partner—an encounter I could never have imagined at that time. We were in the same group and had been assigned the task of preparing a presentation on the theme “My Talent.” By God’s grace, I had the privilege of presenting our work to all the speakers. At the end of the event, just as I was thinking I’d simply had a wonderful day at the seminar, an unexpected encounter would mark the beginning of a new chapter. To my great surprise and with great joy, Sister Erica Fofack approached my brother Othniel and me to talk to us about her songs and the various projects she was working on. This simple exchange, which might have seemed insignificant at the time, would become the starting point of a story that only God could write. That’s how we exchanged contact information. Looking back, I realize that God was already at work in the details of that day...
For Erica, it was an immense blessing to be able to work alongside her brother Nephthali, as well as with the other musicians—brothers and sisters—who contributed to this work. This period of work wasn’t always easy. We had to juggle studio sessions, our professional responsibilities, our studies, and various daily obligations. There was fatigue, there were constraints, and sometimes there were moments when we simply had to find the strength to keep going. But Jesus Christ, the One who inspired and gave us this vision, showed us grace at every step. 🙏🏽 Through these moments spent together, God enabled us to get to know one another better, to serve together toward a shared vision, and to gradually discover each other’s strengths and hearts. What began as a simple service for the songs would little by little become a space where God was building something far deeper. Without us even realizing it yet, He was using every rehearsal, every studio session, every conversation, and every moment we shared to weave the threads of our story. Today, we look back on this time with deep gratitude and can simply say: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”...
Time passed, and despite our busy lives and the different seasons we went through, we continued to stay in touch. A year had gone by since that first meeting, and we still didn’t truly know what the Lord had in store for us. Then came February 17, 2025—a date that would become unforgettable in our story. That day, Brother Nephthali invited Sister Erica to a restaurant in Cologne, in a quiet and peaceful setting. Erica, somewhat surprised by the invitation, naturally asked him what it was all about. But what she was about to hear far exceeded anything she had imagined. With great seriousness and sincerity, Brother Nephthali opened his heart and shared with her the convictions that the Lord Jesus Christ had gradually placed in his heart regarding their relationship and his desire to build a life with her. For Erica, it came as a huge surprise. She hadn’t expected to hear such words that day. Touched and somewhat overwhelmed by what she had just heard, she simply stood there, quietly, with a smile on her face and, above all, a deep peace in her heart...
Then came that wonderful day, June 14, 2026—a date I will forever cherish in my heart. ❤️ That day, Brother Nephthali officially proposed to me, and I have to admit: I didn’t see it coming at all! After sharing his testimony in front of the entire congregation, he called me up to the front of the church. I simply thought he wanted to use me as an example to illustrate the explanation of a Bible passage he had just shared. I didn’t yet know that I had actually become… the “guinea pig” for an illustration that was about to take a completely unexpected turn! 😄❤️ As he explained the passage, his illustration turned into a full-fledged marriage proposal, right in front of the entire congregation. At that moment, the surprise was total! The entire church was pleasantly surprised, and the moment was filled with joy, emotion, and gratitude. After the proposal, we also received the blessing of our spiritual leaders, making this moment even more precious and meaningful to us...
